Okay its Saturday and while I tried to sleep more my back was killing me so bad I could just barely walk up right upon awakening. With the weekly pow-wow here at the Rode House it was time to snag some moo juice from the store and all . So I walked up to the nearby stop and rob and bagged some grub. How the total was over my food stamp level was beyond me but life goes on. Should have just 5 fingered the cakes and bought the moo and soda. But this brought me to thinking why the hell am I waiting to get my six out of this economically challenged city when just 300 miles from here is Mountain Home, 35 miles south of Boise, and just 40 miles north of Hazzard. The fact that none of the Hazzard County Rode Warriors Association lives in or even near to eastern Idaho except myself here in Pocatello one in Idaho Falls and one in BlackFoot , that dawning is enuff to say this just might not be the place. If the goal to provide a media extension of what we are doing TV and radio wise to my kin folk is a consideration , They all live in Grace and Soda Springs Idaho. NOT POCATELLO. The only kin folk I have living in Pocatello is my cousin Donna who is not watching my TV show or anything else we are doing, My XYL watches but only to make fun of it and as far as my son, I'm still not convinced he is my son. So what am I doing here, drowning where I can't even pay a phone bill, my truck for going towing is 70 miles west of here and the paint is all but on the wall, get the hell out of there more over me outta here. So I gave my landlord my 90 days notice. Looking back to Mini Cassia to start but the end goal is Mountain Home. An old saying that my Mom used to say when I was much younger went something to the effect that a fool and his money are soon parted. I must have been a fool for listening to Brian Nugent of KPIF. When he pitched the concept of me buying that CW TV station. I truly think he was really looking for a person to bail out the station, make improvements then be done with me. Again thank goodness I have Bud in Utah taking care of the money and it not be in my hands. The TV thing might be even more of a good flavor if in fact there was employable people in media here. Sure there were tons of honeys at the KPIF/CW ANTM auditions for a big maybe, and even then Brian had trouble finding the money for airfare to send the winner to Hollywierd. But that maybe is backed up by a TV show that all of a sudden shows up here. Granted our gig gives a for sure rather than a maybe but even so 80% of those came from nearby Idaho Falls area of Idaho, not POCATELLO. When one considers the fact that Idaho State University does not offer a hands on VO-Tech radio/TV/ media course but Boise State University does, something that the Hazzard County Rode Warriors had a major involvement in to creating, more on that in another blog. But ISU does not offer such a course. Why? The only reason not enuff media activity here to merit that. Not that there couldn't be but that would take the major pulling out of the head from LDS mud to get that done. Much of the problem that Utah has in growth is the same as POCATELLO. Mormon Fear. And if your not kissing LDS ass in either location not much of anything else is going to happen either. While Western Idaho has some of that its not as deep footed as it is here. However to be fair I will snoop some before I split from here in the BlackFoot/Idaho Falls Idaho area both for a pad to hang my hat in as well as partly base Confederate Star Media in but not the bio fuel plant or much of anything else. When deep in my heart I am going to get my six out of here, to Western Idaho. Where there? In My next Blog.
