Getting the rubber to the road

DDG TEMPLATE 1

Now that there is going to be some solid earth under my britches its time that things at least for the UAITA gets put into gear. Media presence is not only needed but required. That being said, my first mission in life is to get me going towing again. That means finishing the cosmetic and mechanical improvements on all 3 of the trucks I own, LiL Lexi, Lexi herself and Big Mama. That requires shop space which is in limited supply here in GF, not impossible just not that much of it. Sure I still have the shop in Rupert and all that, but with fuel prices and all going down there all the time while for the short haul will be, the long haul wont make it. I saw some spaces in both Bliss as well as Hazzard, so that will be that when I find I begin that grind. That being put down on the pavement, there will be about six months or so that I will have some spare time. The first thing that needs to be done is establishing a really good web site. Now the streaming service we as a group looked at once , now is not that far of a drive, so that is the first mile on this long road. Once that is going  streaming IP Radio thing needs to be done. While for a very short while that can be done at the new Wolf's Den and all with gear from both Radio Shack and some high end stuff, including a new computer with all the proper software. However the big gun is the over the air station. We have teasing that ever since we as a group shut down the station over yonder in Hazzard in 1985. Our original idea for call letters are still available, and from doing a bunch of looking on the Internet from consol to transmitter is while expensive not an unreachable fruit. But before that happens, first a FCC, Construction Permit needs to be applied for and granted. That will take time, but the FCC does not grant CP's as they are called to areas without a good allocation. In our part of the world there are two really good ones. One is right here near GF, over in Hammett. The other is down near American Falls at Raft River, going to eastern Idaho is not an option at least for me and for quite sometime, I don't even want to think anything Eastern Idaho. So that leaves Hammett. Another allocation is near Buhl here in western Idaho so I am going to consult our attorneys and all to get that paper work going. Between now and then, the streaming station will allow us to perfect the format and programing for the over the air station. As said until such time as there becomes a need for outside on air talent, the streaming station can run into the pipeline from my new house at least new to me, its really not a new house, but ya'll git the idea. Once all that is complete we really need to establish an organizational HQ. Up to now the HQ has been split between where I live and at whoever's in the seat of Prezz of the group. Which does not allow for a full time staff etc to manage the affairs of those who join our organization for us to manage those affairs. Once the HQ is established, the web site up and running at warp speed, and all that then, and only then should we try to snag help or input from outside media that includes recruiting female model talent etc. As far as that is concerned. Boise has about 4 fair talent agencies. So for once we can hire out of there not the way we did in both Utah, Wyoming and of course Pocatello. Looking back if we had not stuck our tent in the wind in Pocatello looking for talent etc there perhaps the bad feelings that came about there, might not have came about. We also need to start beating the bushes looking for sponsors. There is just so much money in the pot and that is about done for. Between the losses in Utah and Wyoming there is not a heap amount to do much more than what I have outlined herein. I talked with the bean counter Kelly, on the IP last night , after I could not sleep, because could not go to the crapper very well, so I did some last bit work, to let some of ya'll know wuzz up. Kelly sezz there is enuff in the pot to do the website, and later the HQ that's all. No Dixie Diesel Nationals etc this year. Finally for the Road Resque bunch. I'm going to give a double L, to Cactus Pete's in Jackpot next week to book our fall get-it-together. As far as the UAITA, I think that will go down in Boise, but Less has yet to let me know where, will report on where that is when I know. Both Less and Kelly told me that most likely be a New Years or Valentines Day thing, combined with a think tank meeting. Now to bring this to a close, so I can get in the head and try to snag some sleep so I can finish my move, could use some help by the way, but to close this. My double L will be down in about a week. The reason is simple, I just did not have $'s to pay that and finish the move, but will Git-R-Done 10-01. But will have email and Inet so get in touch with me that way. More next week after I get this all straightened out. Keep it tween the ditches.
