When one dares to dance to a different band

DDG T1

Madonna, Howard Stern, WolfMan Jack, and ye ole AyreWolf here. All of us dedicated and still do to being different, willing to march to a different drummer or dance to a different band. All of us stepped into media. One to punk or rock music, the rest behind the mic on radio. Some went in front of the camera on TV although one of us(me) never really wanted to be a TV star just to put a dent for many who are forgotten. Mostly those of us trucking or going towing. Then there is WolfMan Jack, who pioneered edgy radio and one who defined edgy radio, Howard Stern. But in years gone by that was acceptable, today not so acceptable. Isn't it good that many inventions were proven years ago and advancements made years ago rather than today. Since in our modern nation innovation trying to build a dream or do what others say impossible, is not any longer tolerated or welcomed. Doing something out of the acceptable box today labels YOU a terrorist or worse. From the telephone to the personal Computer or PC, today would never get off the ground. Since all too many would say can't be done, your dreaming grandioso ideas. Not say thank you for trying to get something useful into my home or something that allows greater productivity. Madonna turns 50 today, 9 months before I do. Imagine that. Stern is still on the air albeit over satellite and WolfMan Jack, well somehow I think his spirit will be with us all. Just because I pulled the plug and will not be on Pocatello's cable channel 12, does not mean I will not be on TV. Nor radio. But like many celebrities and just those common Joe's who do radio shows I'm taking time off from being on the airwaves. Boise will be the first port of me getting back on TV, likewise KTOW/KDXC will be us in Glenn's Ferry by bout this time next year being the ears and mouthpiece of those trying to make a buck driving and owning a truck, likewise going towing. Things Hazzard County have not been shot in the head as far as I am concerned but, or me I'm putting that aspect of my life on the rear shelf, stripping much of the outside off and going towing like and with what I started, hence Highway Hooker Towing/ Dixie-Eagle Truck & Tractor Service. While I never got the chance to get someone to step in the seat I occupied at CH-12 in Pocatello, after all who the heck wants that grief? What needs finished there can be done from a distance. As the cooler weather creeps in,  I see what and where I need to get in gear here, more over when it begins snowing I plan to be going towing, past that I really do not care. But Pity the Fool if he or she wants to be different these days. As you'll be called a liar, or worse. Rather than gave a hardy thank you for trying. As I look back on my time in Pocatello, I ought to be given a refund for my attempt at helping Pocatello move into the 21st century, but then again sometimes the big bird wants to keep its head in the hole in the sand. Stay Truckin.

Quote of the day:
I often quote myself. It adds spice to my conversation. - George Bernard Shaw

2 Corinthians 7:1“Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.”
