My what a few miles makes.

DDG T1

So there I was trucking over I-86 the sub highway that runs from just outside of Burley to connect to I-15 at Pocatello. Seemz as though LiL Lexi did not want to return to Pocatello so I could fetch more of my stuff in the relocation project from Pocatello to Glenn's Ferry. As I just got past the split of I-84/I-86 that near bald tire blew, just short of the old Raft River Store. Now what made this worse is that one damn ass lug nut was galled so bad that it was not coming off with just a lug wrench. This was going to take an air impact. So I made a call to Commercial Tire, of Burley. In about an hour waiting and watching some black bug try to stay on a twig here came the tire guy. His name was Jesus. No kidding. Not only did Jesus fix the tire fix the lug stud and all, but too let me go on my word for payment. A $250.00 bill by the way. Would anyone in the tire bizz in Pocatello do that ? Somehow I do not think so. Was it because good old Southern Steele Xpress and all is known better in Burley, a company two buttheads in Pocatello sezz don't exist, but does. Was it the kindness of someone in a real fix? Or is it that Pocatello is so money hungry? Or a combination of all of that? In my opinion its the last one. Yet in Rupert I rent a shop, for $200.00 a month that includes electricity, and yet can't find one nearly that cheap in Pocatello. I did see some things here recently that once again started me second thinking again but after today, I'm more intent on setting my tent in the wind and getting my behind out of here. Okay nuff Pocatello bashing. I saw several opportunities in Bliss. The old Oxbow Cafe there closed up, boarded up, ye ole RoadRunner Texaco Truck Stop dead on its feet, and trucking down through Hazzard stopped at Larry & Mary's Cafe there and saw that up for sale, as well as two possible shop locations. With Glenn's Ferry only a mere 25 to 30 miles shy of Hazzard this does make my dream of reigniting thins there much stronger. Maybe Hazzard truly needs me. God hazz weird wayz of telling us to do things, I'm getting the idea this was my time to rediscover Hazzard County. Well need sleep big day in the AM so will catch all in the PM, good numbers to ya'll keep it tween the ditches.
